Parts Coordinator
The Parts Coordinator is responsible for ordering materials needed for jobs as well as stock items for the warehouse and ensuring that each team member has the materials needed for upcoming jobs. In addition, they take in damaged parts that are covered under warranty and file the claim for the warranty reimbursement.
Hourly Wage: $16.00 / Hour, Full time – Non-Exempt
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Operate a computer terminal to place orders.
- Conferring with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule
- Receiving and contacting vendors to find out the status of an order; contacting vendors concerning discrepancies with quantity and quality
- Reviewing requisitions and bid proposals; negotiating contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority; purchasing supplies
- Aid in providing direction to Parts Coordinator for materials delivered to the job site.
- Interfacing with all departments, providing information and resolving problems with purchased materials (ex. Serial number to install coordinator)
- Performing other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)
- High school Diploma
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to follow easy-to-use procedures and have a good work ethic, great attitude, and great customer service.
